The Woodfast PS400C-S is a heavy-duty industrial panel saw engineered for precision and power in demanding furniture manufacturing and woodworking shops. Its robust cast iron saw unit minimises vibration, while the dual vertical shaft mounting ensures smooth, consistent blade travel for accurate cuts. Equipped with a main blade and scoring blade, the three-speed control allows quick adjustments for different materials.

This model features the innovative SafeCut safety system, which automatically detects unsafe cutting resistance and pauses blade movement to enhance operator protection. The intuitive touchscreen PLC control provides seamless management of blade tilt, rise and fall, and rip fence adjustments, complemented by triple digital crosscut stops for ultra-precise repeatability.

Materials & care

Keep the cast iron saw unit and sliding table guides clean and free of dust and debris to ensure smooth operation. Regularly inspect and clean the main and scoring blades. Lubricate the prismatic guides and vertical shafts as recommended in the user manual. Periodically check the SafeCut system and touchscreen controls for proper function.

How to use

Ensure the machine is connected to a 415V three-phase power supply. Use the touchscreen PLC to set the desired blade height, tilt angle, and rip fence position. Select the appropriate blade speed for your material using the three-speed control. Position panels on the precision sliding table, which moves along tempered prismatic guides. Utilise the triple digital crosscut stops for repeatable, accurate cuts. Always ensure the overhead blade guard is in place before operation.
